Don't miss the 5th Annual Srawberry Festival at Mitcham Farm! This event is fun for the whole family with something for everyone! The festival features u-pick strawberries, pre-picked strawberries and other specialty food items for sale, craft vendors, food and drink, live music, hayrides, pony rides, helicopter rides, farm animal viewing area, tractor demonstrations, and other fun!

Strawberry picking will be open while supply lasts. The farm is located just 30 miles east of downtown Atlanta, less than 5 miles from Interstate 20.

Festival Admission & Fees

Admission: $2/person
Fee includes access to the kids' play area, vendor area, picking fields, farm animal viewing area, some rides, and entertainment

Strawberry Prices

Pick-Your-Own Strawberries: $12/gallon (plus tax)
Pre-Picked Strawberries: $15/gallon (plus tax)
Strawberry Picking Bucket: $1 (plus tax)

Additional Options

Helicopter Rides: $35/person or $100 for a group of 3
Pony Rides: $5/ride
Mechanical Bull Rides: $5/ride
Face Painting: Prices vary

Deliciously sweet, fresh berries. Pick them fresh right from the field! Picking your own berries is easy and fun, and it doesn't take long to fill a basket. Pre-picked strawberries will also be available for purchase.

The Georgia Antique Engine Club and the International Tractor Club will be doing tractor demonstrations including corn shelling and corn grinding.

How long can you hang on? Take a ride on our new bucking rodeo bull. Yee-haw! (Bull Rides are additional to the general admission fee.)

Most children love to ride a pony. For those who are a little more timid, just come by to visit them. (Pony Rides are provided by Peppermint Ponies and are additional to the general admission fee.)

Petting Zoo

In addition to our own farm animals that you can visit, we'll have a traveling petting zoo featuring rescued chickens, goats, alpacas, pigs, ducks, a llama, and a camel. A $2 fee applies for petting the animals. Additional donations for the care of these rescue animals are appreciated.

Face Painting

Face Painting

Pick your design and be transformed by face painter, Tiffany Williams, of Everything Paint! Cost is $8-10/design. [learn more]


We are expecting well over 2,000 attendees at this year's Strawberry Festival. We are looking for craft vendors who would like to display and sell their items.
