Deliciously sweet, fresh berries. Pick them fresh right from the field! Picking your own berries is easy and fun, and it doesn't take long to fill a basket. Pre-picked strawberries will also be available for purchase.
Country River Band (CRB)
With seasoned professionals and musicians, CRB brings a great mix of classic country with the top 40 hits and a touch of southern rock classics. Fast becoming a very popular band in the Athens music scene, they are now poised to show the rest of Georgia and the south what the Country River Band can do. The Country River Band has open for many of country's biggest stars such as: George Jones, Connie Smith, Randy Travis & Doug Stone.
Caroline Monroe Boyd
Local artist performing an acoustic set of Americana and country music, some original and some popular, in a reflective alt-country style that suits her distinctive, haunting voice. She's been compared to Emmylou Harris, Iris Dement, Lucinda Williams, and a country version of Natalie Merchant.
Chainsaw Woodcarving Demonstrations
Watch as artist James Brinley of JB Craftworks creates wooden sculptures with his chainsaw! James will also have some of his custom work available for purchase. [learn more]
The North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club, Georgia Antique Engine Club, and the International Tractor Club will be doing tractor demonstrations including corn shelling and corn grinding.
Up up and away! Take a sightseeing ride up above our beautiful countryside available on select dates only. Starting at $35/person or $100 for a group of 3.
Mechanical Bull Ride
How long can you hang on? Take a ride on our new bucking rodeo bull. Yee-haw! (Bull Rides are additional to the general admission fee.)
Most children love to ride a pony. For those who are a little more timid, just come by to visit them. (Pony Rides are provided by Peppermint Ponies and are additional to the general admission fee.)
In addition to our own farm animals that you can visit, we'll have a traveling petting zoo featuring rescued chickens, goats, alpacas, pigs, ducks, a llama, and a camel. A $3 fee applies for petting the animals, which is used for the care of these rescue animals.
We are expecting well over 2,000 attendees at this year's Strawberry Festival. We are looking for arts and craft vendors who would like to display and sell their items.
